The coincidence detector was placed in different positions during blocks of time of 19 hours or more. Below are graphs from the following alignments: East-West, North-South, North at 45 degrees, East at 45 degrees, West at 45 degrees, and South at 45 degrees. For comparison the last graph shows the Up-Down at 180 degrees which is the normal position for the maximum muon count reading.
East-West Alignment
North-South Alignment
Towards North at a 45 degree angle
Towards East at a 45 degree angle
Towards South at a 45 degree angle
Towards West at a 45 degree angle
Up-Down at 180 degrees (normal)
