Muon Flux Count from St. Croix, U.S.V.I from 071910 Compared to 071911

The Muon Flux Count Continues to Increase

Observations by James A. Petrait

Both of the observations in the graphs below started late on 7/18 and covered a 24 hour or more period which included all of 7/19. The one on the left (or top) was made in 2010 and the one on the right (or bottom) was made in 2011. Both used 2 geiger counters and a coincidence detector (as described elsewhere on this website) and were in the same horizontal position and location for the 2010 and 2011 readings. The 2011 reading shows a definite increase over the 2010 reading. This is consistent with other observations that are being made during the 2 year time period.
